Stay

In honor of national suicide prevention week & inspired by Levi The Poet's poem, "It's All Worth Living For."

Don't go because there will be days when your stomach is aching from laughing so hard. Don't go because there are still road trips to take. There are still states to be visited. There is still places to see. Still so many people to meet and love. There are so many friends you have not met yet. So many memories not yet made.

Please don't go. It's not your time. There is so much time left. So many sunrises to see. So many night skies to admire. An endless amount of clouds to watch pass. There are so many concerts you have not attended yet. So many adventures to go wandering in.

Stay because you are loved. You still have to see the love of your life walking down the aisle to meet you, where you will start the rest of your life. The rest of your life has not started yet. Stay. You were made for a reason. You matter to those hands. You are loved endlessly, wrecklesly, and unfailingly. Darling, stay, so you wake up to days where you feel so alive you heart feels like it might fall out of your chest. You can make a difference, you are different.

Those scars will heal. Your heart will mend. You are wholly beautiful. Stay so you have a story to tell. Stay so you can tell your story. So many people need to hear your story so they can write their own. You matter. You are making footprints, don't stop walking. You are not walking alone.

There is so many coffee shops yet for you to discover. So much coffee to try and so many lattes to be drank. There are so many late nights with friends, consumed with uncontrollable laughter and deep conversations. Still so many car jam sessions to have.

Stay for the unexplainable connections to be made. For the reunions with old friends. You are so needed. You are you, no one else can be you. You are unique, like no else. Different & lovely.

Stay for breaking & healing. The wounds will mend. It is okay not to be okay. It is okay to ask for help. Quit apologizing for how you feel, for being yourself.

Please stay. Don't go. Stay.
