Inspiration

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from a conjunction of details that add fuel to my creativity fire.

What inspires me is the people that continue to shine through the darkness, the people who smile through the hurt, this life is not always easy and sometimes it kicks at the back of your legs until you fall down. The most passionate people I have met have the most battered hearts, but continue to spark a light unto those who have encountered their glow.

I am inspired by the people who show how they feel and who they are through their creativity, the photographers, the poets, the writers everyone who graces others with their passion to share their story which aids everyone in feeling less alone.

I find inspiration in hearing others tell their story my favorite way is through spoken word, no matter what the topic of the poem may be, whether that be a social issue or a story from someones own life experience. Being able to hear these poems spoken by the poet that wrote allows for a glimpse into that persons life and allows you to step into their shoes. Hearing the stories of others really make me so fueled to write my own. Sharing your story allows you to see where you been, and where you are going, the possibilities all before your eyes.

I find inspiration in photography, the fact that you can capture a moment in time and pause that second in time and freeze it absolutely blows my mind. Since I was a kid I have always loved to take pictures of nature and my friends and being grown up now I have dug up the same passion within myself as well. I love consistently learning about photography and learning how to get those creative and unique shots, my learning process of photography has been endless and I love that.

One of the main things that I find inspirations from is literature, writing and poetry. I think there is such a deep art in inking your story it just seems to permanent to me. I think that writing your story is such a tradition way of sharing your feelings and passions as well. One of the main things that keeps my art fire alive is reading books, whether that be poetry book to get ideas from other poets or a really cool fictional book to get my creative writing cap on. I think reading books is such a simple way to earn knowledge and to learn from others as well. Writing has peeked my interest since I was in 4th grade I had my first writing assignment that I really was passionate about, that’s when I wrote my first deep poem about God and not trying to brag but it was pretty good for a little 4th grader. Since then writing as become my way of expressing my voice and inking my story.

So, what inspires you? What fuels your creativity fire? Think about it and get back to me.

All the love,

A.S.
