a letter / a surrender

When my feet touch the ground, may they follow your footsteps.

When I fall, may I reach for your hand only.

When my heart shatters, may I only search for your hands to mend it

When I stumble, may I fall to my knees for you.

When I am hurting, may I take my pain to you and when the joy comes may i rejoice in you.

When i remember that I can't do it all myself, may I hand it over to you and when my hands tremble may my heart cling to you.

May I seek for your beauty in everything. May I see your beauty in everything.  

May I listen to your voice in the stillness. May I seek your light in the darkness. May I reflect your light in the darkness.  

May I surrender, fully, and rejoice in your grace.
